mpf hardware (command-line utility)

Starts the MPF game engine, scan/configure hardware platforms and exit.

Command line options

There are several command-line options you can use when running mpf hardware.

scan

Start MPF, scan all configured hardware platforms, dump their state and exit

firmware_update

Start MPF, scan all configured hardware platforms, update their firmware if not up to date and exit.

Page navigation via the keyboard: < >

You can navigate this site via the keyboard. There are two modes:

General navigation, when search is not focused:

  • F , S , / : open search dialog
  • P , , : go to previous page
  • N , . : go to next page

While using the search function:

  • Down , Up : select next / previous result
  • Esc , Tab : close search
  • Enter : go to highlighted page in the results
